Although most people view Tech Terrace Real Estate primarily as a residential venture, John and Shawn actually have and continue to spend a considerable amount of time investing, leasing and managing commercial property. In 2013 we started our acquisition of properties along 34th Street. 34th Street is a commercial corridor and is the southern border of Tech Terrace. Now that huge improvements have been made to the infrastructure on 34th Street from I-27 to Marsha Sharp Freeway (5 miles), the opportunity exists for both interim uses and redevelopment. John and Shawn are both investing heavily in this corridor and believe 34th St has the potential to become unlike any other area in Lubbock Texas.
