Although most people view Tech Terrace Real Estate primarily as a residential venture, John and Shawn actually have and continue to spend a considerable amount of time investing, leasing and managing commercial property. Most notable is the Plaza Shopping Center in Tech Terrace. From October 2010 through 2012, Tech Terrace Real Estate strategically updated the lethargic strip center and re-arranged and added new tenants. Now the Plaza is thriving and its value has increased significantly!
In 2013 we started our acquisition of properties along 34th Street. 34th Street is a commercial corridor and is the southern border of Tech Terrace. Now that huge improvements are being made to the infrastructure on 34th Street from I-27 to Marsha Sharp Freeway (5 miles), we feel that opportunity exists for both interim uses and redevelopment.
