Discover Medical District
The Medical District is a 1-square mile neighborhood that is bordered by Texas Tech and Tech Terrace. It is where the Covenant Hospital is located and where hundreds of doctors practice daily. As such, the area is a major employment center for Lubbock with all the support services nearby (banking, retail, restaurants). While the residences in the neighborhood are rarely occupied by the physicians and professional staff, it is very much a viable area for students and support staff. The barrier to entry is oftentimes less than that of Tech Terrace and we feel that returns in this area can be very stable.
